  1. Short:    Extensive stats package for OzMetro BBS

  6. The Logstats Package consists of three programs:  Logstats, which must
  7. be run in every midnight event to collate the stats and produce a data
  8. file; StatDoor, which is the door that is run on your BBS to present the
  9. data items in a meaningful way; and the LogstatsEd, which is used for
  10. generating a blank Logstats file, and for maintenance on the stats
  11. themselves, once you've been running it for a while.

  13. Stats are collected for these BBS activities:
  14.  
  15.   * Calls
  16.   * Public Messages
  17.   * Private Messages
  18.   * Downloads
  19.   * Uploads
  20.   * Door Entrances
  21.  
  22. The door then allows one to access the file and get reports printed
  23. based on the top 15 users in each category, overall unsorted figures for
  24. each category, ratios of each category per call, Public Messages per
  25. Private Message, Uploads per Download, Downloads per Upload, any
  26. individual user's figures, a full database display of all statistics and
  27. a Top 50 Users Chart.  (Go into the door and check it out if that was
  28. confusing)

  30. The door has full ANSI graphics, plenty of IBM graphics characters and
  31. fully hot-keyed selections.

  33. All versions of the Stats Door are completely compatible with the same
  34. data file - viz.  BBS:BBSFILES/logstats
